The client needs to have a thorough process in order for the testing to be efficient and covers all the areas that needs to be tested. Hence, the Kritiks identified some challenges in order to test this platform efficiently.

1. Gameplay Variability:
Testing a rugby game platform means checking how well things like passing, kicking, tackling, and scoring work. These parts are super important and need to feel like real rugby. But making sure they’re just right can be tough because rugby is so dynamic. To get all this right, testers use different methods like playing the game themselves, using computer programs to test, and listening to what players say about the game. They try out lots of different situations to make sure everything works well and feels like real rugby. This way, they make sure the rugby game is fun and feels like the real thing for fans to enjoy.

2. Multiplayer Functionality:
Testing the multiplayer functionality of the platform is crucial because it lets players from anywhere in the world compete with each other. Testers have to make sure that this feature works perfectly. Here’s what they check: Matchmaking: The Kritiks ensure fair matchups by testing the matchmaking system to pair players based on factors like skill level, experience, and location.

Synchronization of Game States: The Kritiks ensure game state synchronization across all players, regardless of device or network conditions, to maintain fair gameplay.

3. User Interface:
The Kritiks examine the user interface (UI) to ensure it’s easy for players of all skill levels to navigate. They check that everything, like menus, buttons, and in-game displays, works properly and looks good on different screen sizes and resolutions.

4. Cross-Platform Compatibility:

  3. Compatibility Testing – the Kritiks tested the platform on different devices with varying hardware specifications to ensure compatibility and performance consistency across all platforms.
  4. Smoke Testing – the Kritiks made sure that the platform starts up without any errors, verifying that users can navigate through menus and options without any issues, and checking if all users can join and connect to a match.
  5. Regression Testing – involves manually retesting previously tested features to ensure that recent changes or updates haven’t introduced any new issues or caused existing functionalities to break.

After conducting thorough manual testing, the Kritiks achieved the following results:
  1. They successfully resolved the majority of the major issues identified during testing, ensuring that the platform’s functionality was significantly improved.

  3. The Kritiks paid special attention to cross-functionality testing, ensuring that the platform worked seamlessly across different devices and scenarios.
